About the Role
The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for a Manager Supervision to join the Supervision (Employer & Provider) Directorate. This role regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW and collaborates across both the Workers compensation and CTP schemes.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team holding employers to account with their workers compensation obligations.
- Liaising with key stakeholders including SafeWork NSW, employer groups and unions.
- Working effectively in the Supervision (Employer & Provider) leadership team.
- Oversight of key projects in the Employer Supervision strategy to improve customer experience and outcomes.
Requirements
- Be NSW residents or in the process of relocating to NSW
- Hold appropriate working rights for the type of employment offered - Fixed Term roles require valid work rights for the full duration of the role
Skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and high levels of collaboration.
- Knowledge and understanding of workers compensation or other employer focused legislation, best practice, and guidelines.
- Strong decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project guidelines.

- base salary for this role starting at $154,231 base plus superannuation
