About the Role
As a Regional Leader at Mercado Envíos, you will be the strategist behind operational efficiency in Fulfillment centers across a region. Your mission is to transform physical space into a competitive advantage, ensuring impeccably ordered operations and the correct stock in the right place. You will ensure infrastructure drives smooth, precise, and friction-free logistics.
Responsibilities
- Install and lead capacity and slotting strategy for the region's markets, establishing operational excellence standards.
- Design workflows to ensure an organized warehouse, facilitating fast picking processes and minimizing operational errors.
- Design and execute expansion and space utilization plans to absorb demand peaks.
- Collaborate with Planning teams to ensure optimal stock profile based on local demand, avoiding excess dead inventory and maximizing turnover.
- Act as a critical bridge between Planning, Operations, and Technology to align space availability with sales projections.
Requirements
- Completed university studies with a degree.
- Solid experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, and/or Engineering (PMO).
- Proficiency in data interpretation and analysis applied to warehouse capacity (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, SQL desirable, trends, projections, and AI tools).
- Proficiency in SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Autocad, and layouts.
- Proven ability managing multicultural teams in high-complexity environments with significant direct reports.
