About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic Fixed Line initiatives that support nbn's fibre, HFC and network infrastructure transformation programs. This role will drive complex delivery outcomes from concept through to implementation, ensuring initiatives are operationally ready, deliver customer and business benefits, and align with nbn's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of Fixed Line programs and projects across fibre, HFC, network infrastructure and emerging field capabilities.
  • Developing integrated delivery plans that balance customer outcomes, operational readiness, field execution requirements and business priorities.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Driving governance, reporting and executive communications across SteerCo, Leadership and senior stakeholder forums.
  • Partnering with Business Delivery Owners, Technology Delivery Owners and operational teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable and deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Coordinating readiness activities including field enablement, process change, workforce impacts, deployment planning and transition into operations.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders to achieve alignment and remove delivery barriers across complex and often competing priorities.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of delivery practices, governance frameworks and operational outcomes across the Fixed Line portfolio.

Requirements

  • You are an experienced project delivery professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys turning strategy into tangible outcomes.
  • You bring strong end-to-end project management expertise, coupled with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • You have a proven track record delivering large-scale transformation, operational improvement or telecommunications initiatives, with experience managing competing priorities, risks, dependencies and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • You are equally comfortable working at a strategic level with senior leaders as you are engaging delivery teams to remove roadblocks and maintain momentum.
  • You are a collaborative leader with a continuous improvement mindset who can build trusted relationships, challenge constructively, and deliver results through others in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Your ability to communicate with clarity, influence without authority and maintain focus on outcomes will be key to your success in this role.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
