About the Role

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Principal Investors and Private Equity (PIPE) Practice Area, you will provide industry/functional expertise and insights, working with case and proposal teams to deliver knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. You will serve as a thought partner and content expert, helping structure and solve complex issues, and support commercialization efforts through analysis and insights for proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials. You will also help build, own, and enhance AI-enabled products, tools, and knowledge assets, driving their adoption and impact, while onboarding and training junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

Provide industry/functional expertise and insights.
Work with case and proposal teams to deliver knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory.
Develop expertise on AI and advanced data analytics tools.
Serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders.
Support commercialization efforts through analysis and insights for proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
Build, own, and enhance AI-enabled products, tools, and knowledge assets.
Drive adoption and impact of AI-enabled products and assets.
Onboard, train, and enable junior colleagues on topics/sectors and new products.
Collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG.
Integrate into client-facing teams to deliver direct client impact.
Co-create insights on industry trends and functional topics.
Codify IP to enable BCG to deliver excellent business value.
Deliver actionable research and insights tailored to client project needs.
Work with qualitative and quantitative data.
Conduct research and provide synthesized results from various sources.

Requirements

3+ years consulting experience in PIPE required.
4+ years minimum industry experience required (in lieu of consulting experience).
6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Fluency in English.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated experience managing product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
Comfort in data-driven decision making.
Familiarity with agile/scrum delivery frameworks.

Skills

Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions in one or more relevant PIPE topic areas.
Communicating with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrating rapid learning agility across emerging technologies and analytical assets.
Managing a portfolio of projects.
Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled products and analytics assets.
Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
Working in an ever changing and complex environment.
Comfort with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment.
Practical fluency with GenAI and modern development tools (e.g. APIs, custom GPTs / AI Skills, coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor, GitHub, cloud platforms) strongly preferred.
Comfort learning new tools as the landscape evolves.
