About the Role
Eurest is revolutionizing workplace catering by using the power of food to help workers across Australia live healthier, happier, and more productive lives. This role is key to delivering an exceptional breakfast buffet experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of the breakfast buffet.
- Ensure breakfast service meets exceptional standards across all menus and daily specials.
- Maintain awareness and a desire for nutrition and healthy eating.
- Champion allergy awareness and ensure controls are adhered to.
- Influence food costs through portion control, waste minimization, and stock control.
- Ensure the safe production of high-quality products in compliance with food safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Chef's Trade Qualifications.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Buffet experience within a hotel is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and current food trends.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with junior and senior staff.
- Applied knowledge and passion for OHS, Food Safety, and HACCP regulations.
