About the Role
Responsible for leading and delivering transformation initiatives, providing leadership, business coordination, and digitalization of processes to improve the quality and effectiveness of project delivery across the CRO. Ensure projects are customer-focused and well-governed. Regularly report to the steering committee on project progress. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), the PM will closely work with different CRO Teams, IT, and other departments as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead transformation initiatives, including project plan preparation, resource identification and coordination, budget monitoring, and governance/reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realization, project impacts, outcomes, and measures to ensure project success.
- Monitor resource allocation in consultation with the ETO Manager to ensure achievement of strategic deliverables while maintaining a high level of service for BAU activities.
- Ensure successful project implementation in consultation with regional BU’s within CRO, aiming to improve the quality and impact of services provided.
- Ensure appropriate governance and risk frameworks are utilized for project success.
- Utilize established standardized PM methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure consistent tracking of project performance, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
- Ensure alignment between project outcomes and business objectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, bottlenecks, and risks.
- Foster strong collaboration across global and regional teams.
- Ensure stakeholder readiness, communication, and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Project and Test (including Data Migration) Planning.
- Staff Training and Communication coordination (as required).
- Coordination of Project daily/weekly standups and SME meetings.
- Participation in regular ETO meetings.
- Upload project timesheets as required into PSA system.
- Develop an overall view of change supporting decision-making around project delivery timing due to stakeholder impact, in conjunction with the ETO Manager.
- Lead change management, communications, and adoption activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in project management, transformation operational excellence, or consulting with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Significant Project Management Experience working in complex, multi-functional organizations.
- Experience in CRO, Biotech, or similar regulated environment preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret relevant legislation, regulations, and local policies.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile or equivalent certification preferred.

- Global or regional project management / Transformation experience.

Education Level

- MBA preferred
