About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our Product Insights team, working across TWC Flagship app, Storm Radar, and future app experiences. This role is crucial for translating raw behavioral data into meaningful product strategy, ensuring a clear and holistic view of user app experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and ensure the integrity of data connections in Amplitude and other behavioral analytics systems.
  • Identify and resolve tracking gaps, misfires, and schema issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering to validate event instrumentation before and after feature releases.
  • Establish and maintain documentation of the analytics event taxonomy, data dictionaries, and tracking standards.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure analytics are configured correctly from the start of the feature development lifecycle.
  • Advise on and co-author measurement plans for new features, defining success metrics and instrumentation requirements.
  • Serve as an embedded analytics resource for the product team, enabling faster decision-making.
  • Conduct deep analysis using behavioral data sources to understand user engagement, retention, and feature adoption.
  • Partner with UX Research to integrate behavioral data with qualitative research and user feedback.
  • Advise and assist the product team in designing, launching, and interpreting A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Leverage AI and automation to expedite analysis and provide training on self-service analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analytics, or a similar role, ideally within a consumer-facing digital product (mobile app experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Amplitude or a comparable behavioral analytics platform (e.g., Mixpanel, Heap) is required.
  • Strong SQL skills; ability to independently query, clean, and analyze data from large datasets.
  • Solid grounding in A/B testing methodology, including statistical significance, sample size estimation, and experiment design.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Preset, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with event instrumentation practices and CDPs such as mParticle.
  • Experience with mobile app analytics and understanding of mobile measurement nuances (e.g., session definitions, background events, iOS vs. Android differences).
  • Background in or exposure to data engineering concepts (pipelines, schemas, ETL).
  • Experience partnering with UX researchers on mixed-methods studies, integrating qualitative and quantitative data.
