About the Role
Build the analytical and evidentiary foundation for pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions across the Procore portfolio, including emerging AI offerings. Turn ambiguous commercial questions into rigorous, defensible recommendations and ensure all data presented to leadership is accurate and sourced.
Responsibilities
- Build and stress-test the quantitative case behind pricing and packaging decisions, including segment-level performance, cannibalization-adjusted ARR impact, and migration/monetization sizing.
- Diagnose ambiguous commercial problems end-to-end, identifying root causes in package architecture, sales execution, or market fit.
- Design and run qualitative and quantitative research to test pricing hypotheses.
- Translate model outputs into clear, claim-driven, board-ready recommendations.
- Support the Senior Director in operationalizing pricing governance and preparing analysis for cross-functional approval.
- Contribute modeling and market analysis for new monetization models for emerging product lines.
- Partner with Product, GTM, Sales, and Deal Desk to operationalize pricing and packaging decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in pricing strategy, monetization, product strategy, commercial strategy, or management consulting.
- 3–5 years of experience within a pricing or monetization practice at a top-tier strategy firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or an equivalent pricing boutique).
- Exceptional financial and quantitative modeling skills.
- Expert proficiency in Excel and experience building complex pricing, revenue impact, and unit economics models from scratch.
- Demonstrated experience conducting qualitative and quantitative pricing research (e.g., Van Westendorp, Conjoint analysis, customer willingness-to-pay studies).
- Proven track record of framing complex, ambiguous problems into clear strategic frameworks.
- Experience presenting board-ready recommendations to C-suite and executive leaders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills.
- Demonstrated experience partnering effectively with GTM, Product Management, Sales, and Finance leaders.
- Deep curiosity, high agency, and an owner’s mindset with a strong bias for action and driving tangible business outcomes.
