About the Role
Seeking a driven Facility Operations Technician Sr to lead a team in installing, maintaining, and optimizing essential HVAC systems across diverse critical sites. This role supports transmission and telecommunication sites within LCRA service areas, offering an adventure-filled workday with travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Travel across various LCRA service areas throughout Texas, requiring overnight lodging.
- Respond to critical service calls outside of normal business hours.
- Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, calibration, filter replacements, belt adjustments, and coil sanitization.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, DX units, heat pumps, ice machines, cooling towers, pumps, and electrical motors.
- Lead end-to-end HVAC installation, retrofit, and upgrade initiatives, managing planning, scheduling, resource distribution, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in building operations and maintenance, including data center and central plant operations, commercial HVAC systems and controls, or relevant experience.
- Driver's license.

- Ability to analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
