About the Role

This role will be pivotal in supporting the perioperative team, ensuring patient flow and a positive patient experience while contributing to the overall standard of care delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting and manual handling of patients to and from the Operating Theatre.
  • Care and maintenance of equipment used during surgery.

Requirements

  • Previous hospital or Operating Room experience.
  • A commitment to attending conferences and lectures as identified as requirements for this position.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety, Infection Control and their impact on the delivery of care.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the work rights necessary for the role.

Work Type

  • Permanent part time
  • 24 hours per week
  • Day shifts only

Salary/Compensations

  • $34.37 AUD base per hour + super
