About the Role
Hampton Inn Verona is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to brand standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Replenish room supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Assist with laundry duties and public area cleaning as needed.
- Ensure all rooms meet quality standards before guest occupancy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Background check required.
