About the Role
As a Senior Manager in the Corporate Tax Compliance team, you will lead complex compliance delivery, shape client outcomes, and support expansion in high-growth areas like Financial Services, Real Estate, and Pillar 2. This role offers the chance to specialize, manage a varied portfolio, influence strategy, and work at the forefront of evolving tax regimes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations and high-quality deliverables.
- Lead complex tax compliance projects, identifying planning opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Manage and mentor tax professionals, driving quality and efficiency.
- Build strong client relationships, providing strategic tax advice and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Collaborate across PwC teams to deliver integrated services and support business growth.
- Develop expertise in areas such as real estate, financial services, and Pillar 2.
Requirements
- Possess a tax professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA or international equivalent), or have equivalent relevant work experience.
- Bring strong UK corporate tax knowledge, including reviewing computations, tax accounting, and group reporting disclosures, while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Apply sound accounting knowledge to interpret statutory accounts accurately.
- Demonstrate leadership experience with senior internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships within large teams.
- Maintain a high-quality client service ethos with flexibility to meet client needs.
- Possess desirable experience in Financial Services, Real Estate, or Pillar 2.
