About the Role

ConnectPay is seeking a compassionate, client-service oriented Outside Sales Account Executive to conduct exploratory conversations with small businesses to understand their payroll needs and identify how ConnectPay's value proposition can meet their solutions. This is a field-based sales position responsible for meeting with prospective clients and closing new business within a assigned sales territory in the greater Albany, NY and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including pipeline building, identifying and qualifying target opportunities, meeting with prospective customers, negotiating and closing new business
Develop a referral or reciprocity program with local community influencers and business leaders
Meet and report sales activity metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Collect the documentation required for a successful conversion of payroll data from the previous provider to the ConnectPay platform

Requirements

Skilled at establishing rapport, being detail oriented and motivated by success
A valid driver's license

Skills

Outside B2B sales experience
Hunting/prospecting in an outside sales environment
Nurturing, managing and developing a defined sales territory
Strong and polished professional communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems and internet/social medial platforms
Selling payroll services

Salary/Compensations

Base salary range: $50,000 - $70,000
On-target earnings (OTE) for commission-based roles: $100,000 - $125,000
