About the Role

Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.
- Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
- Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
- Designs, develops, and tests mechanical components, parts, and assembly of product equipment, signage, and merchandising.
- Performs prototype testing for product validation and design verification.
- Creates and shares engineering data with cross-functional teams, including parts and assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering change orders.
- Designs parts and assemblies for sheet metal fabrication, vacuum forming, injection molding, and machining.
- Works on multiple projects, coordinating design tasks and timelines with management.
- May act as a point of contact for vendors.
Requirements
