About the Role
Point One Navigation is seeking a Director of Product to own the clarity, coordination, and execution integrity of the Product organization. This is an execution-first role where you will be hands-on with engineering on technically complex product decisions, translating product direction into clear specifications, structured backlogs, actionable roadmaps, and coordinated delivery. - Maintain Product requirements as living documents throughout the lifecycle of each capability.
- Update documentation as scope, sequencing, or functionality evolves.
- Ensure scope is reviewed and approved prior to execution.
- Own the roadmap: prioritization calls, operating cadence, and company-wide visibility.
- Own and maintain a transparent, company-wide backlog.
- Set prioritization criteria and make final roadmap sequencing calls in partnership with executive leadership.
- Consolidate sizing inputs and own the resourced roadmap.
- Lead roadmap review sessions with Product and Engineering leadership.
- Update the roadmap quarterly to reflect actual progress and new priorities.
- Clearly communicate changes when sequencing or delivery timing shifts.
- Own the roadmap and support boundaries for the client/positioning-engine side of the product.
- Set a clear point of view on the positioning engine/client product direction.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, with Indoor positioning as a key near-term focus.
- Free up executive/technical leadership time by taking direct ownership of positioning engine/client product work.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Strategy, including experience leading a team.
- Track record of owning product strategy and roadmap decisions for a SaaS, hardware-adjacent, or technical platform.
- Strong technical acumen; engineering or technical background is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, embedded systems, and real-time data systems.
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership and presenting to boards or investors.
