About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the property, observe and report unusual conditions or activities, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and daily shift documentation.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with visitors, tenants, vendors, and property personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
