About the Role

Join CommBank’s Structured Trade Finance team within Market Operations, part of the Chief Operations Office. The team delivers Structured Trade and Supply Chain Finance products supporting Trade Finance teams across Institutional Banking & Markets and Business & Private Bank clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service and operational support to clients across Structured Trade Finance, Working Capital, and Supply Chain Finance products.
• Process and manage structured inventory transactions in line with credit approvals, policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
• Support Trade Finance sales channels and product specialists with facility implementation, transaction execution, and client inquiries.
• Complete pre-operational checks and ensure transactions are managed with strong attention to control, compliance, and risk requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of operating procedures for new and existing client facilities, including audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Structured Trade Finance products, including inventory finance and supply chain finance, with an understanding of related risks, controls, and mitigating actions.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a complex operational environment.
• Knowledge of financing hard and soft commodity products through structured trade finance.
• Broad understanding of traditional trade finance products and processes.
• Familiarity with Working Capital and Structured Trade Finance products, including Inventory Finance and Supply Chain Finance.
• Broad awareness of AML, KYC, and operational risk themes.
