About the Role

This role supports the growth ambitions for our broker motor portfolio by developing and implementing rating proposals. You will use your insurance market knowledge and pricing expertise to deliver on business objectives, working closely with the wider Broker business and Technical Excellence Pricing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with broker partners, building strong relationships while uncovering new opportunities to drive portfolio growth.
• Carry out and support the team in delivering pricing analysis.
• Coordinate the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against common technical modelling standards and adherence to data controls.
• Define, set priority, and report on the status of project work and rate reviews/analysis to support product and pricing development.
• Support the manager in Pricing meetings through presenting and contributing to outcomes.
• Assist in coaching and developing other colleagues within the team to ensure constant up-skilling.

Requirements

• Experience as part of a personal lines pricing team, supporting pricing strategy and portfolio performance.
• Proven experience in working with large data sources.
• Good stakeholder management skills, including communication, expectation management, and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques i.e. GLM’s and GBM’s.
