About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new pipeline generation and enhance our outbound sales strategy. This role offers a unique combination of individual contribution and process innovation, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & RevOps.
Responsibilities
- Own the number by carrying a personal pipeline generation target and contributing to overall net new revenue goals.
- Build relationships with world-class brands by researching, account planning, and opening opportunities with a focused list of target accounts.
- Rebuild the prospecting process using AI and LLMs to improve sourcing, research, prioritization, personalization, and sequencing.
- Own the data and sales stack, ensuring clean data flow between tools and making decisions on tool adoption.
- Partner across the go-to-market team to refine the sales process, build prospecting workflows, and align outreach efforts.
- Build momentum by shaping sales norms and taking on growth-focused projects.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of sales development or outbound experience.
- Proven track record as a top-performing BDR/SDR with a passion for opening opportunities.
- Strong writing skills for creating compelling sales emails.
- Collaborative spirit with a desire to be part of an excellent team and hold high standards.
- AI-native mindset, with a strong point of view on leveraging AI in outreach.
- Proficiency with sales and automation tools such as HubSpot and Apollo.
- Competitive nature and growth mindset, willing to tackle challenging tasks.
- Organized and data-driven, comfortable owning a performance number.
- Interest in sustainability and the secondhand shopping market.
- Ideally located in Austin and willing to work in a coworking space 2+ days a week.
