About the Role
In collaboration with patients, families, and staff, this role provides pharmaceutical care services, ensuring safe and accurate prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and drug regimen reviews.
Responsibilities
- Ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately.
- Conduct patient drug regimen review.
- Provide patient prescription counseling services.
- Prepare and maintain required records.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and other clinical staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure all tasks comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain favorable internal relationships and partnerships.
- Interact respectfully and collaboratively with patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the care team in providing patient-centered care.
- Represent the organization professionally in all actions and communications.
- Uphold and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, and values.
- Complete all mandatory training and maintain appropriate credentials/licensure.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in retail or mail order pharmacy.
- Current license by Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current Health Care Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
