About the Role

In collaboration with patients, families, and staff, this role provides pharmaceutical care services, ensuring safe and accurate prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and drug regimen reviews.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately.
• Conduct patient drug regimen review.
• Provide patient prescription counseling services.
• Prepare and maintain required records.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and other clinical staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all tasks comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Develop and maintain favorable internal relationships and partnerships.
• Interact respectfully and collaboratively with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the care team in providing patient-centered care.
• Represent the organization professionally in all actions and communications.
• Uphold and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, and values.
• Complete all mandatory training and maintain appropriate credentials/licensure.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in retail or mail order pharmacy.
• Current license by Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Health Care Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
