Lead high-level customer engagements, driving proposal development, contract negotiation, and commercial risk assessment. This role requires autonomy in managing execution, workload, and financial performance, influencing resource prioritization and commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals and negotiate with customers.
- Ensure deals deliver shareholder value and drive competitive pricing.
- Compile and submit required tender documentation.
- Develop specialized knowledge of commercial developments and influence others.
- Contribute to product strategy and policy development.
- Ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
- Analyze data to support recommendations using technical experience.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
- Develop persuasion skills to influence others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of cumulative relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Commercial Operations, or a related function supporting power generation products or services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer-facing commercial activities, including reviewing customer specifications and proposals, proposal/contract development, direct negotiations, and application of contract principles.

- Geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
