About the Role
The Site Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for all onsite aspects of construction, operations, and maintenance activity at tower sites, including customer installations, troubleshooting, ground-based inspections, tower lighting, site maintenance, and general telecommunications construction and maintenance resolutions. The role oversees onsite vendors, installers, and customer representatives, ensuring all work and site maintenance comply with Crown Castle policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform site layout validation and scoping on-site and in the field.
- Ensure project forecasting accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate permitting, inspection, and code compliance.
- Manage construction quality, scope, and construction changes.
- Review site-specific closeout documents for customer-specific deliverables.
Requirements
- Ability to negotiate with landowners to influence outcomes.
- Works independently and as a member of various teams.
- Demonstrated ability to teach others, mentor, and coach.
- Knowledge of wireless infrastructure construction process, site acquisition, zoning, and permitting.

Experience Level

Education Level
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or commensurate experience
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Construction Training Cards
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- FAA Part 107 License preferred, or ability to obtain license upon offer of employment
Salary/Compensations
- $36.54 - $50.24 per hour
