About the Role
This role plays a key part in positioning the men’s categories for continued growth while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing, and values-driven workplace. The position is primarily based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office and follows a hybrid schedule, dependent on role and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the Men’s Merchandising team in executing seasonal assortment strategies across key product categories – Men’s Apparel & Accessories.
- Assist with maintaining and updating line plans, assortment tools, and merchandising reports.
- Help track product information including style counts, colorways, pricing, and delivery timing.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to track and maintain calendar for merchandising deliverables.
- Support sample tracking and organization for line reviews and milestone meetings.
- Assist with data entry and updates within merchandising systems and PLM tools.
- Maintain buying tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for deadlines, addressing and resolving issues promptly with planning, allocation, and production partners.
- Compile and prepare materials for line reviews, buy meetings, and cross-functional presentations.
- Support analysis of selling performance, historical data, and seasonal trends.
- Assist with competitive and market research.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Planning, and Production teams to support timelines.
- Help maintain organized digital and physical merchandising files and samples.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, or a related retail role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to access and navigate various department at the organization's facilities.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with PLM systems a plus
- Interest in men’s apparel and accessories, retail trends, and product lifecycle management
