About the Role
The Vendor Business Manager (VBM) acts as a trusted advisor to the Ingram Micro partner ecosystem, owning the end-to-end vendor strategy and relationships while driving the growth of vendor product sales and market share across channels. The VBM is accountable for strengthening vendors’ presence, market share, and performance through strategic initiatives and close collaboration with partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business plan aligned with vendors' strategic objectives and Ingram Micro’s overall direction.
- Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives driven by strong market intelligence and analyse return on investment.
- Develop and manage partner growth initiatives and enablement programs.
- Drive the brand and ecosystem journey through product ranging, incentives, partner programs, and training, leveraging Ingram Micro’s service and support capabilities.
- Stay up to date with current technologies, solutions, and market trends to drive competitive outcomes.
- Act as a product evangelist and key conduit between vendors, Ingram Micro sales teams, and channel partners.
- Track pipeline, sell-out performance, and go-to-market activities.
- Identify opportunities with complementary vendors and adjacent markets to enhance overall channel offerings and uncover new growth areas.
- Set, implement, and regularly review pricing strategies, promotions, and rebate programs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, vendor management, or business development across multiple verticals.
- At least one year of field sales or market/business development experience.
- Established reseller and channel partner relationships.
- Final offers of employment are subject to the completion of relevant pre-employment background checks.
