About the Role

This role is responsible for the launch and mass production of surgical C-arm imaging devices, aiming to safely produce high-quality products and ship them to customers on time. Future assignments may include the manufacturing departments for ultrasound probes and CT detectors, production control, manufacturing technology, and EHS, allowing for the acquisition of diverse knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Introduction of production equipment and jigs during new line setup, quality system (QMS) response, and contribution to stable production and shipping as a manufacturing line leader, improving productivity through improvement activities based on lean manufacturing.
  • Introduction of inspection machines and production equipment for new products.
  • Development, evaluation, and improvement of jigs, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Creation and revision of various work procedure manuals and documents based on QMS.
  • Application and change management related to equipment introduction.
  • Assembly, inspection, and adjustment of products on the manufacturing line.
  • Identification of problems in the manufacturing process and proposal of solutions.
  • Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Adherence to quality control standards and participation in quality improvement activities.
  • Accurate creation and management of manufacturing records.
  • Compliance with safety and health regulations and maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Collaboration with related departments (design, engineering, etc.).
  • May involve day and night shift work during mass production.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher (preferably a graduate of an industrial field).
  • Over 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control.
  • Problem-solving ability and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Communication skills in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing (desirable).
  • Communication skills in English (desirable).
