About the Role
The Title Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational activities of Title employees in a Title Operations Center. This role supports multiple counties and is accountable for internal production, acting as a liaison with internal and/or external businesses.
Responsibilities
- Supervising title production employees working on transactions in the state of New York.
- Supervising the day-to-day operational activities of title employees.
- Assisting with personnel management, ensuring wage and work hour laws are followed, and providing input to goal setting.
- Delegating tasks, managing workflow, and making recommendations for staffing needs.
- Interviewing candidates, providing hiring recommendations, writing and conducting performance reviews, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Managing disciplinary actions.
- Monitoring processes and identifying subordinate training needs.
- Driving efforts for organizational flexibility through cross-training objectives.
- Implementing processes and metrics to monitor and improve customer service, quality, turnaround time, and productivity.
- Managing the interaction with process workflow, FAST, and electronic imaging databases.
- Driving problem-solving activities and making informed decisions to ensure product quality, low cost, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Acting as liaison with global partners through production monitoring and measuring performance.
- Ensuring global production percentage is continuously increased and consistent with capabilities and training.
- Providing regular status updates and reports to Manager.
Requirements
- Familiar with company policies, contract coverage, and compliance concerns.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Solid technical knowledge of systems and appliances.
- Ability to interpret contracts.
- Ability to deliver information in an articulate and assertive manner both orally and written.
- Successful track record of executing day to day operational responsibilities, along with participating in, developing and completing projects in area of expertise.
- Emerging leadership skills.
- Ability to implement and enforce processes to ensure compliance and quality.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at the departmental level.
- Ability to communicate the function’s vision and the department’s direction, and set aligned goals for team.
