About the Role

St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is hiring Medical Assistants for their provider offices. These are per diem, as needed positions, with a 2-3 day minimum requirement each week.

Responsibilities

  • Full day availability for training for roughly the first 5 days of hire.
  • MA’s are expected to spend at least 2 hours per week until they are ready to sit for the certification exam.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation is required to travel to Clifton Park, Albany, Troy and other surrounding towns.
  • If you are hired as a non-certified MA, within 90 days you would be required to sit for the National Certification Exam for Medical Assistants.
  • MA’s will be allowed a maximum of 3 CCMA exam attempts and must be certified within six months of date of hire.
  • Medical assistants who are unsuccessful on their third exam attempt, or who remain uncertified by six months from date of hire will have 30 days to find another position in a non-medical assistant role within the organization.

  • $20 + 10% travel pay
