About the Role
Join our team at St. Peter’s Health Partners - Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center as a Food Service Worker. This role focuses on preparing scratch-made meals with a holistic approach, emphasizing seasonal, local, and responsibly sourced ingredients. You will contribute to enriching the lives of residents by providing high-quality care and services, enjoying work-life balance with flexible scheduling and ongoing growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the food service area, including setting and clearing tables, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and other utility tasks.
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and maintaining proper food temperature and presentation.
- Follow HACCP for correct food handling and production.
- Properly store foods in designated areas, adhering to all corporate, State, and Federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, administrators, and Managers.
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following correct procedures.
- Adhere to SPHP's code of conduct.
Requirements
- Food service and customer service experience is preferred.
- Working papers required if under 18 years of age.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and write English on a minimum 6th grade level.

- $16.20 - $23.50 per hour
