About the Role
Carnegie Hall seeks an Assistant Director, Digital Content Strategy to support the Director of Digital Content and Engagement in developing and executing the organization's digital content and engagement strategy. This role will serve as a strategic resource, defining strategy and evaluating digital content across platforms like social media, video, and website content to cultivate brand awareness, engage audiences, and support revenue initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop editorial calendars and content strategy plans for various initiatives, including events, milestones, programs, branding, development needs, and digital product launches.
- Curate content pillars and ensure a balance of institutional messaging.
- Ensure content adheres to optimal SEO/AEO, keyword, information architecture, and usability best practices, aligning with the overarching digital strategy.
- Identify opportunities to engage audiences with timely themes.
- Define KPIs and evaluate content and platforms based on metrics, trends, and qualitative observations.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging social media platforms.
- Supervise team members involved in social media content creation, posting, monitoring, and audience engagement.
- Lead collaborative cross-departmental campaign kick-off conversations and brainstorms.
- Oversee the content creation lifecycle from ideation to optimization, including organic and paid social media, online articles, and video content.
- Ensure accuracy of content and adherence to institutional voice and style.
- Ensure the team responds to and engages with audience members across platforms, escalating customer service issues as needed.
- Liaise with freelancers and external agencies.
- Provide regular reporting and audience feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the online audience's perspective in content development.
- Respond to internal requests for social media exposure and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate outreach to artists, agents, influencers, and aggregator sites for engagement and marketing campaigns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
