About the Role

The Audience Insights Manager will support the B2B team on projects informing strategies for ads & promos products and solutions. This role will focus on understanding how to engage businesses in advertising on DoorDash and will also assist with overflow insights projects across audiences. The Audience Insights team partners with and influences strategy across various functions, using research, tools, data synthesis, and consulting to ensure the voice of consumers, merchants, and Dashers is central to decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Use creativity and technical expertise to execute qualitative and quantitative research processes.
  • Synthesize learnings to formulate compelling stories that stimulate decisions.
  • Build and oversee vendor relationships and run studies completely from scratch, in house.
  • Improve project management efficiency by managing timelines, collecting information from stakeholders, and ensuring vendors meet business needs.
  • Establish tools and processes that centralize information for strategic partners.
  • Contribute to cultivating a company culture that can identify and action insights.
  • Enable the business to be deeply attuned to the needs of all audiences: consumers, merchants & dashers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing Research or Insights.
  • Understanding of different research types (concept development, copy testing, ethnography, segmentation, brand health, qualitative and quantitative techniques).
  • Comfort with self-moderating 1-on-1 interviews.
  • Creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Expertise in Qualtrics or extensive experience programming surveys.
  • Experience with B2B research (client-side or agency).
  • Experience writing Insights proposals or learning plans, suggesting research methodologies, and explaining them to non-researcher stakeholders.
  • Experience interacting with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and ability to learn new tools quickly.
