About the Role
The Digital Partner Marketing Manager (DPMM) is a partner-led GTM leader responsible for translating Microsoft priorities into concrete, high-impact partner marketing execution. This role goes beyond campaign delivery, acting as strategic advisors and GTM orchestrators to enable partners in building and executing scalable co-marketing plans that generate pipeline, create opportunities, and drive measurable business results. DPMMs operate in a global, data-driven operating model, leveraging structured frameworks, dashboards, and repeatable processes to deliver consistent impact across a partner portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Translate Microsoft solutions and priorities into clear, executable partner GTM plans.
- Define target audiences, value proposition, messaging, and channel strategy.
- Simplify complex partner strategies into focused, results-oriented plans.
- Align closely with PMMs, PDMs, and business stakeholders on GTM priorities.
- Guide partners to launch and execute campaigns rapidly using available resources and programs.
- Support end-to-end campaign activation (planning → execution → optimization).
- Ensure alignment with Microsoft incentives, programs, and Campaign-in-a-Box frameworks.
- Promote repeatable execution models across the partner portfolio.
- Drive partner activities towards pipeline generation and opportunity creation.
- Track performance against funnel metrics (leads, opportunities, pipeline).
- Utilize dashboards and data to recommend next best actions.
- Ensure campaign impact is measurable and tied to business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partner marketing and leadership teams.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of partners (15-20).
- Influence partner priorities without direct authority, guiding focus towards highest-impact activities.
- Lead partner meetings and workshops with confidence and clarity.
- Use performance data to prioritize partners, campaigns, and investments.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities proactively and drive corrective actions.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ensure consistent use of tracking tools, reporting frameworks, and governance processes.
- Manage a partner portfolio leveraging structured frameworks, templates, and playbooks.
- Deliver consistent output quality through repeatable processes.
- Contribute to a globally standardized operating model with local adaptability.
- Maintain a strong execution cadence across planning, delivery, and reporting cycles.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years in B2B, digital, or partner marketing (preferably within the tech/Microsoft ecosystem).
- Proven experience working with partners (ISVs, SIs, CSPs, or similar ecosystems).
- Experience in building and executing GTM or demand generation strategies.
- Strong understanding of the marketing funnel, campaign execution, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with data, dashboards, or marketing performance reporting tools.
