Responsibilities

  • Drive interactive marketing experiences and tools that keep creative operations moving.
  • Deliver technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.
  • Work within a highly collaborative environment that balances rapid execution with technical excellence.
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge cloud architectures and modern tooling.

Requirements

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or software engineering.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration.
  • Working knowledge of source control management systems, including Git and SVN.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Solid coding skills in Go, Java, or Python, with working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience building and maintaining build/release systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with modern IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Helm.
  • Working knowledge of web servers and load balancers, including Apache HTTP Server, NGINX, or HAProxy.
  • Familiarity with hypervisors and virtualization tooling such as VMware ESXi, Vagrant, or KVM.
  • General understanding of application security, system security, and transport layer security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • High degree of personal autonomy, initiative, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Patient listener who actively seeks out all points of view during technical discussions, paired with a strong commitment to execute once alignment and strategic direction are established.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for real-time monitoring and alerting at global scale.
  • Proven track record writing idiomatic Go to extend, automate, or interface with Kubernetes ecosystems (e.g., custom controllers, operators, or cloud-native tooling).
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade Web UI frontends using modern frameworks (Vue, React, or Svelte) tightly integrated with Go backends and APIs.
  • Mastery of Docker image hardening (minimal/distroless base images, rootless execution, vulnerability scanning, image signing, and secret hygiene).
  • Expert-level coding skills in Go, Java, and Python, with strong mastery of Test-Driven Development (TDD) applied across large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Deep, applied understanding of application security, system security, transport layer security, and modern encryption standards in production environments.
  • Advanced, production-hardened experience across Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm at global/multi-region scale.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting high-availability, multi-cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
