About the Role

Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

Requirements

Six years of experience in network and software development
Experience in Optical DWDM networking across metro, terrestrial, and long-haul environments
Experience in Network operations, network support, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and recovery execution
Experience developing network automation or device management solutions
Linux and shell-based operations
Scrum and Agile methodologies
Network compliance, change management, and vendor engagement on major maintenances
Multi-vendor optical networking environments
Software upgrade validation, network stability verification, reachability testing, and traffic-impact analysis

Skills

Optical network technologies: ROADM / FOADM, Mux/Demux, Flex Mux/Demux, transponders, client pluggables, coherent and non-coherent optical systems, EDFA, and Raman amplifiers
Optical operations performance: Span loss mitigations and optimization, and Pre-FEC BER improvement
DWDM hardware proficiency: Transponder technologies, OTDR, OSA, OCS, BERT, and Power meters
Network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
