About the Role

The Program Coordinator supports the Admin Team by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating activities of Al-Huda School. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of school programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings, provide agendas and minutes, and develop reports relevant to activities and policy implementation.
  • Create initiatives to engage students, parents, and support staff.
  • Assist teaching staff in preparing and planning teaching activities.
  • Prepare educational materials and documents for the school.
  • Provide orientation for teaching staff regarding programs or activities.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and distribute activities and schedules with office administrative staff.
  • Maintain a systemic file system with program records.
  • Manage a computerized data system using Excel.
  • Coordinate the development of program policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate on-going teacher evaluations.
  • Organize and chair staff team meetings.
  • Assist in managing fiscal operations, including budget development and modifications.
  • Track expenditures and monitor the program's financial health, making recommendations to the Director.
  • Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies.
  • Demonstrate awareness of school goals and objectives.
  • Utilize available resources and websites to enhance the school.
  • Network with other coordinators, institutes, and organizations to share information and gain knowledge.
  • Strengthen sisterhood/brotherhood among staff and manage the school in alignment with MAC objectives.

Requirements

  • Possess good problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and initiative.
  • Have a good understanding of the requirements of MAC Islamic Centre programs and the structure of the MAC institution.
  • Be able to work independently and be organized to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be professional in all program-related dealings.
  • Provide leadership in development and program mapping.
  • Be aware of MAC's mission and vision.
