About the Role
Conducts moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in various areas of the hospital core laboratory department, including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, and chemistry. Performs quality control on all tests. Follows-up on out of range results and relays critical values to appropriate teams. Utilizes the laboratory information system (LIS) to document examination results.

Requirements
- Current New York State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as Medical Technologist (MT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers.

Experience Level
- New Graduates accepted
- Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant clinical expertise in a hospital laboratory setting -- PREFERRED
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) or Medical Technology or Life Sciences.
- Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as Medical Laboratory Scientist - PREFERRED
