About the Role

As the Global Marketing Manager for BCG’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area, you will support the team in executing marketing strategies across earned, owned, and paid channels. This broad, hands-on role offers significant ownership and growth opportunities, encouraging independent execution and idea generation within a supportive marketing team. The role is ideal for individuals early in their project-leadership journey, eager to gain breadth in marketing, and excited by AI-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape and deliver the Global TMT marketing plan, translating commercial priorities into integrated campaigns across earned, owned, and paid channels.
  • Own end-to-end campaign delivery from brief to results, managing content and channel sequencing, and keeping workstreams on track.
  • Build strong relationships with TMT stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure campaigns reflect sector trends.
  • Partner with authors and experts to shape compelling narratives and storylines across bcg.com, LinkedIn, and other channels, owning the communications and marketing plan for each piece of content.
  • Monitor the industry competitor landscape across Technology, Media, and Telecom to identify opportunities for BCG to engage.
  • Take ownership of reactive moments tied to the TMT calendar, such as earnings cycles and regulatory shifts, turning them into timely, on-brand content.
  • Build and manage media partnerships to promote TMT's flagship content and campaigns, securing appropriate placements.
  • Track performance and ROI across paid and partnership activities to refine future targeting.
  • Support the planning and execution of global flagship events and other third-party events, including managing invitations, logistics, on-the-ground delivery, and post-event evaluation.
  • Identify and propose new media partnership opportunities to extend TMT's reach based on client and prospective client engagement.
  • Prepare briefing materials for senior stakeholders and coordinate event logistics for high-profile events.
  • Track performance and ROI across partnership activities to refine future targeting and creative.
  • Track campaign KPIs and marketing performance using tools like PowerBI and Tableau, summarizing activity and impact for leadership.
  • Help the team explore and adopt AI tools and workflows for marketing tasks, including drafting, research, analysis, and designing AI-assisted workflows.
  • Propose and pilot automation and AI solutions to improve campaign planning, content production, and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Approximately 4-6 years of relevant marketing, communications, or campaign experience, preferably in B2B marketing, consulting, professional services, or the technology, media, or telecom sectors.
  • Agency experience is desired.
  • This role is suited for individuals stepping into a manager-level scope for the first time or early in that transition.
  • Some exposure across earned, owned, and/or paid marketing is needed, with a desire to build range across the full mix.
  • A growth mindset, motivated by expanding scope and responsibility.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shaping a point of view under time pressure.
  • A genuine interest in AI and its impact on marketing work.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, prompt design, or building AI-assisted workflows is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with standard marketing and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project trackers).
  • Familiarity with martech or analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wrike, PowerBI, Tableau, Sprinklr, Signal AI) is helpful but not essential.
  • Highly professional, service-oriented, and adaptable with maturity to perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to take a brief and execute independently, making sound judgment calls.
  • Proactive work style with the ability to build independence over time.
  • Ability to think across the marketing mix, including content, campaigns, and events.
  • Ability to move quickly on reactive opportunities and respond to live news moments.
  • Confidence in collaborating with senior colleagues and anticipating their needs.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing a varied and fast-moving workload.
  • Curiosity towards new tools and ways of working, including AI.
