About the Role

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking full-time and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) with a passion for working with seniors. You will be patient, courteous, and tactful with residents, staff, family members, and visitors. This role is vital in overseeing healthcare tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping, and other support services essential to resident well-being.

Responsibilities

Oversee health care tasks
Provide personal hygiene services
Perform housekeeping tasks
Provide other related support services essential to resident health, happiness & wellbeing

Requirements

Current Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate in the state of New York
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Prior experience working as an HHA
Prior experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to be a team player and contribute actively
