About the Role
Fluidstack is seeking a Product Engineering Program Manager to drive hardware development for gigawatt-scale AI data centers. This role involves taking products from concept to mass production, managing complex schedules, and ensuring cross-functional execution across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Own the program schedule, stage gates, and cross-functional execution for a product family from kickoff through rate production.
- Run risk and dependency management across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
- Facilitate gate reviews and readiness scoring, holding the line on pass criteria.
- Broker escalations and decisions between engineering and delivery.
- Build program schedules with explicit assumptions and decision dates.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of technical program management of hardware NPI at an OEM, ODM, or hyperscaler.
- An engineering degree and sufficient technical depth to evaluate design reviews.
- Experience making difficult program decisions (scope reduction, date slips, cost recovery).
- Experience managing DVT-stage component changes against long lead times.
- Ability to build credible program schedules with uncertain design inputs.
- Experience tracking risk across multiple workstreams using tooling and judgment.
