About the Role
Group leader will guide students through afterschool programs consisting of mealtime, outdoor play, arts activities, and homework help. Primarily helping Pre-k through 5th graders. They will work closely with Teaching artists in visual art, theater, dance, sports and games to facilitate learning and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Lead students through structured activities
- Student supervision
- Provide individualized support, assisting students with homework or if they are struggling in a group setting
- Conflict resolution
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment
- Participate in staff meetings
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with childcare (not babysitting or taking care of cousins/siblings)
