About the Role

Chenango Memorial Hospital, part of the United Health Services system, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Walk-In Clinic in Norwich, NY. This is a 0.6 FTE position ideal for an independent, confident provider with a strong background in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine. You will join a team dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care in a busy, community-focused clinic. The walk-in clinic sees a diverse range of non-emergency, acute conditions and offers an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care for walk-in patients of all ages with acute and episodic conditions.
  • Collaborate with onsite staff and refer patients to appropriate specialists or emergency services as needed.
  • Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EPIC EMR.
  • Monday through Friday hours and participation in Saturday rotation; clinic is closed Sundays.

Requirements

  • Current NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in walk-in, urgent care, emergency, or family medicine required
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Salary/Compensations

  • $91- $107/ Hour
  • $87,000 – $102,000
