About the Role
Afinitas, a global leader in equipment, forming systems, and accessory products for precast concrete infrastructure, is seeking a team member to support its operations. Responsibilities
- Condition material surfaces by abrasive blasting, grinding, sanding, polishing, and cleaning operations.
- Apply and remove protective coverings and masking from stainless steel sheet, threads, and other features.
- Assist with loading and removal of materials and subassemblies from process operation staging areas.
- Package materials, subassemblies, and assemblies for shipment.
- Load and unload local and long-distance carriers.
- Clean, organize, and maintain shop and office spaces.
- Assist with facility maintenance and janitorial activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
- Employees must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
