Responsibilities
- Measure clients to determine scope of work
- Pin and mark garments according to fabric type and fit requirements
- Complete alterations to the highest technical standard
- Deliver completed garments by the promised date
- Inform clients of alteration charges based on the current price list
- Confirm and communicate the promise date for completed alterations
- Collaborate with Sales Associates to ensure client satisfaction
- Provide expert guidance on garment cut and fit
- Complete designated sections of the alterations tag
- Adhere to the Holt Renfrew price list
- Report supply needs or equipment repair requirements to the department manager
- Maintain a clean and orderly department
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures
Requirements
- Tailoring or seamstress technical training, or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Previous experience altering luxury fabrications
- Comfortable and clear communication in English and/or French
