About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically driven Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This role is integral to our clinical team, delivering safe, accurate, and personalized care to support patients throughout their fertility journey. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, exercising independent clinical judgment and collaborating closely with pharmacists, nurses, and patient care teams in a fast-paced, technology-enabled startup environment. Responsibilities
- Perform clinical review and verification of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide patient counseling and medication education.
- Serve as a clinical resource for pharmacy technicians, patient care teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and optimize patient care.
- Independently manage assigned prescription workflows from intake through final verification.
- Assist with workload balancing by stepping into priority workflows as patient volume demands.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and workflow improvements.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend coverage.
- Foster a culture centered on patient experience, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a pharmacist intern and/or licensed pharmacist.
- Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as business needs require.
