About the Role
The Account Manager drives IEWC’s inside sales efforts by serving as the primary contact for customer interactions, including quoting and inquiries, while ensuring a world-class customer experience. This role involves developing business plans and growth strategies to significantly increase profit for a defined list of accounts and maximize sales by leveraging IEWC’s value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Develop an annual account sales plan in partnership with the Business Development Manager (BDM) and/or VP of Sales, consistent with company goals.
- Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve growth goals.
- Build sales pipeline in line with sales targets through utilization of the IEWC sales process and manage opportunities through IEWC’s CRM.
- Identify customer needs and tailor specific solutions that create value for the customer and profitability for IEWC.
- Develop relationships with key decision makers at the customer utilizing the IEWC inside sales strategy and sales methodology.
- Deliver the IEWC value proposition and align our value wedge to gain a competitive advantage through value differentiation.
- Create a robust opportunity pipeline, focusing on increasing win rate percentage, maximizing average deal size, and shortening the sales cycle.
- Ensure orders and quotes are processed to meet customer demands.
- Respond to customer requests for information, quotes, pricing, delivery, returns, billings, and complaints.
- Review open orders and coordinate with other departments to ensure correct processing and on-time delivery of products.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to work with Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP and all standard current computer applications.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to a Distribution Center or manufacturing environment and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
- Occasionally exposed to a noise level ranging from moderate to high.
- Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
- Occasionally required to perform work related travel.
