About the Role
As a Receiving Coordinator, you will be a central figure in our warehouse operation, working closely with receiving leads to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inbound shipments, managing all receiving data entry in our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and addressing various receiving tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of our receiving processes and ensuring accurate inventory and timely stocking.
Responsibilities
- Capture all receiving data entry into Korber, the warehouse management system, to ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Print and organize required documents for each container, including manifests and item labels
- Execute the daily receiving plan, stepping in for leads or management when needed
- Enforce product handling and stocking procedures to uphold quality standards
- Identify items across various documentation sources, such as customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladings
- Use the WMS to accurately manage inventory and orders
- Maintain accountability for inventory accuracy, promptly addressing any discrepancies
- Report and troubleshoot nonconforming materials through the Internal Corrective Action Reporting (ICAR) process
- Assist in securing the facilities at the end of each shift to ensure safety and security
- Drive efforts to meet warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by supporting efficient and accurate operations
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
Skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
