About the Role
The Director, Point of Care leads the Point of Care team’s marketplace efforts by providing functional management and leadership to a team of Point of Care Associate Directors & Supervisor. They own the Point of Care media plan story, quality of work output, contribute to new POC solutions, manage and train direct reports, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace. The goal is to support client Point of Care marketplace initiatives and develop/maintain PHM Point of Care partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop a knowledge of PHM’s Terms + Conditions and Point of Care partner contracting process.
- Manage the Point of Care channel investment strategy.
- Own POC tactical recommendations, including business rules for office selection and cross-franchise strategy.
- Serve as the point of contact for monthly & quarterly validation and verification of each partner regarding any blocking issues, confirming delivery by office.
- Oversee daily execution of Point of Care team tasks.
- Manage timely delivery of Point of Care team projects and tasks.
- Ensure standard methodologies in Point of Care process, efficiencies, etc., are implemented and operational.
- Oversee ongoing Marketplace intelligence + POVs.
- Manage POC marketplace 101s and education days.
- Drive POVs on new investment offerings, processes, and technologies.
- Assign and execute ad hoc projects.
- Develop talent, delegate appropriately, and ensure teams are working smoothly.
- Manage and prioritize team assignments.
- Provide clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization, and measures of success to all key stakeholders.
- Foster a positive work environment.
- Provide expertise and share knowledge with junior team members.
- Deliver constructive, actionable feedback to the team.
- Develop working relationships with client contacts as necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with Point of Care media partners and serve as a point of escalation for partners and the Point of Care team.
- Collaborate internally with leadership across capabilities and teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with key Groupe teams, PMX, APEX.
- Contribute to new business efforts as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of media planning and/or buying experience with preference in Point of Care, Out of Home, or HCP.
- 2+ years recent HCP media experience.
- 2+ years people management experience.
Skills
- Strong understanding of how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout.
- Strong understanding of client’s business and goals.
- Expert understanding of how client business objectives translate into Point of Care marketplace strategies.
- Expert understanding of the overall Point of Care marketplace and partner landscape.
- Expert understanding of Point of Care partnership opportunities, deals, and terms.
Experience Level
- 7+ years of media planning and/or buying
- 2+ years recent HCP media experience
- 2+ years people management experience
Salary/Compensations
- USD $106,780.00 - USD $170,937.00/Annually
