About the Role

Perform all aspects of portfolio management to meet client objectives, while maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios to meet investment objectives and execute the firm's investment philosophy.
  • Oversee the client lifecycle, including building client resumes, evaluating risk parameters, establishing goals, creating investment plans, and monitoring financial situations.
  • Deepen existing client relationships through asset consolidation and positioning firm resources.
  • Adhere to all compliance mandates, including client reviews, documentation, and risk awareness.
  • Utilize relevant order management and Client Relationship Management technologies.
  • Grow assets under management through increased share of wallet and new client inflows, while focusing on retention.
  • Collaborate within the Wealth Advisor team structure to serve existing clients and develop new business.
  • Represent Orange Investment Advisors within its geographic footprint.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and trust.
  • Absorb large amounts of information and communicate opinions/advice to the Investment Policy Committee and clients.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risk in client portfolios.
  • Make decisions that can have long-term effects on firm reputation and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate regularly with management, colleagues, and clients.
  • Prudently manage a miscellaneous expense budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Series 65/66
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of information and communicate opinions/advice
  • Ability to develop strategies to mitigate risk
  • Ability to make decisions with long-term effects
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate ideas clearly
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of multi-tasking with a strong sense of urgency
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent follow-up, written and verbal skills
  • Ability to apply required regulatory and policy requirements when making decisions
  • Flexibility to work additional hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as required.
  • High volume of interactions in person and over the telephone.
  • Proficient in all aspects of technology
  • Frequently required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Normal range of vision and hearing abilities required.
  • Mobility required greeting and assisting employees and visitors.
  • Frequently required to skillfully operate a computer, telephone and other standard office equipment.
  • Travel between locations.
  • Occasionally travel outside of work location to attend meetings and training programs.
