About the Role

Lead the packaging team to ensure timely, cost-effective development, presentation, and production of packaging that meets brand aesthetics, customer requirements, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and training to the packaging team.
• Manage packaging development from construction and graphic concepts to mockup presentations.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet brand aesthetics, consumer needs, manufacturing capabilities, and quality standards.
• Create packaging specifications and collaborate with overseas factories and agents on costs.
• Manage the packaging delivery process including prototype development, press proofs, and final sample approvals.
• Communicate project milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with brands and customers to meet packaging expectations.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party packaging vendors.
• Collaborate with photo studios and customers to execute packaging photography.
• Lead the development of environmentally friendly packaging.
• Facilitate team critiques for new packaging graphic concepts.
• Coordinate with third-party translators for packaging content.
• Work with local suppliers for mockups and presentation projects.
• Organize and archive samples, artworks, mechanicals, specifications, and invoices.
• Proofread packaging mechanicals prior to release.
• Create packaging design artwork and perform photo editing or photography.
