About the Role
As a member of the Speed City Karting team, your role will include offering exceptional service and contributing to the COTA vision of making memories for our guests. You will ensure a positive company image by providing gracious, friendly and efficient customer service to both COTA guests and your fellow team members.
Responsibilities
- Give every customer immediate and undivided attention.
- Surprise and delight the customers with consistent support from the beginning of their experience to the moment they leave our campus.
- Ensure the safety of everyone by thoroughly cleaning all work areas often during your shift.
- Follow department procedures to maintain inventory and process payment transactions.
- Operate and sanitize all karting/ride equipment according to company procedures.
- Educate COTA guests on the entire Speed City karting experience with enthusiasm.
- Operate our Soaring Eagle and other amusement rides.
- Make sure seat belts and lap bars are locked and secure.
- Enforce rider restriction and measure for height requirements.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Understand and communicate quality goals and all COTA information to customers.
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet needs of the department.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception.
- Weekday availability preferred.
