About the Role
Seeking a Marketing Manager to join a lean, high-output marketing team. This role offers broad responsibilities including demand generation for a student-housing portfolio, investor and fund marketing, corporate brand building, and marketing for growing platform companies. It is designed for individuals seeking accelerated career growth with significant scope and executive exposure in a fast-paced, AI-native environment.
Responsibilities
- Run full-funnel leasing campaigns hands-on for a coast-to-coast student-housing portfolio, including paid search, social, display, retargeting, Internet Listing Services, out-of-home, and organic/AI search.
- Own the weekly execution loop during peak leasing season, adjusting copy, creative, landing pages, and channels based on leasing velocity by property.
- Partner with leasing operations on conversion metrics such as speed-to-lead and reputation management.
- Produce and maintain fund collateral, fact sheets, investment cases, and monthly performance communications.
- Build and execute advisor and wealth-channel campaigns, including lead capture, CRM nurturing, and event execution.
- Operate within Canadian marketing compliance, including CASL and securities marketing requirements, with compliance review integrated into the workflow.
- Ship content for the firm's digital presence, social media, annual Impact Report, and research-driven thought leadership.
- Extend marketing capabilities into portfolio and platform companies as they scale.
- Conceive and personally run low-cost growth initiatives, including campus and street presence, creative outreach, and earned media.
- Build with AI daily, including agentic workflows, automation, and AI-assisted content systems.
- Run workstreams using a systems approach with ticketed work, single-source dashboards, and a written operating cadence.
- Own campaign analytics and reporting using GA4 and CRM-based attribution, presenting scoreboards to leadership weekly.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years in marketing at a high-performing organization (top agency, high-growth startup/scale-up, or elite in-house team) with hands-on campaign execution experience.
- Demonstrated hunger for acceleration, deliberately choosing scope, pace, and responsibility.
- Proof of pace, with experience shipping through high-tempo periods and ability to show built work and its production.
- Full-funnel execution skills including paid digital, SEO/AI-search optimization, landing-page/conversion optimization, and analytics (GA4, CRM-based reporting).
- Evidence of building with AI (agentic workflows, automation, AI-assisted content systems), not just using the tools.
- At least one scrappy win (unconventional, low-budget play conceived, run, and measured).
- Strong writing skills and comfort operating in a metrics-driven cadence with visible weekly results.
- Familiarity with Canadian marketing compliance (CASL; securities marketing rules).
- Experience coordinating agencies and vendors across creative, media, and PR.
